It's difficult for Australia to break new ground.

The greatest achievements have already been conquered.

This is the team that has claimed seven Cricket World Cups, along with another six T20 titles, and previously enjoyed 1,294 days unbeaten in 50-over cricket.

The remaining milestones, those for the record chasers, are what's still available for a team that has achieved everything.

That it took up to Sunday's three-wicket win over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase exceeding 300, reclaiming their record for the highest in women's cricket's 50-over format, is, in truth, a tribute to the pitchers that have sported the yellow jersey over five decades.

She got to fifty in 35 deliveries - her swiftest at the global tournament - and her hundred in 84 balls as she punished short deliveries, hitting 21 fours and three sixes.

By the time she was out Australia needed 66 more at a run-a-ball - an unconquered height now demanding an easy conclusion.

"Chasing 330 runs is uncharted waters so I'm pleased we have the assurance to accomplish that now," stated Healy further.

"Hopefully we don't have to repeat it but, if we do, we believe we can achieve it."

That comment will be the final thing Australia's opponents at this World Cup want to hear.

During the last week a belief they will succeed regardless of circumstances has only strengthened - this victory following victory over Pakistan by 107 run margin despite struggling at 76-7 at one point.

Next Australia play Bangladesh before an encounter with traditional opponents England in Indore in 10 days, by which point a semi-final place may well be secure.

It was in the semi-finals they exited last year's T20 World Cup in an unexpected loss by South Africa - a match Healy was absent due to ruptured tissue in her foot as she captained her nation for the inaugural occasion at a significant event.

Such is her determination, she later said she regretted not playing with the discomfort.

However although she afterwards confessed those fitness problems have pushed back consideration of ending her career, this tournament is likely to be her last as captain in 50-over cricket and she is still to achieve a world championship as captain.
