Amazing $30 Cartography Software Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

After a short availability earlier this year, this cartography software collection is back with an encore that lasts through early December. Described as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" created by a specialized software company over the years, the entire collection carries a value of more than thirteen hundred dollars. And there are three different bundles available here.

The Main Attraction

The big draw is certainly a lifetime license to the CC3+ software, a professional-grade mapping application that can be used to generate various types including epic fantasy landscapes, smaller regional maps, city maps, and most notably, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Entry Level

The most affordable option, starting at just one dollar, features merely four of the 39 total items: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Castle Source Maps, and Source Maps: Cities!. This one's only for existing CC3+ users, yet it provides new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five aerial castle designs with 470 associated map tokens, eight fully mapped cities, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-product collection for at least $15 offers enhanced value through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, the first Annual volume, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. Cartographer's Annual is the annual collection from the company's long-running monthly subscription service featuring a variety CC3+ add-ons like map collections and various other tools. The Isometric Cities enables display cities with an extra dimension using angled views from all sides. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping is a 760-page suitable for novices and experts, full of tips and tutorials for the map-making process.

Every volume from the Annual series are included here, alongside a slew of additional tools and content enabling creators to design entire planets or galaxies, or focus exclusively on classic fantasy realm creation: combat arenas, dungeons, cities, and continents from almost any perspective. Users can also create character illustrations. For $30 as opposed to $15, the full bundle is so worth it, particularly for mappers who have only the annual CC3+ license seeking permanent licensing. But it's obviously an even better deal for cartography beginners since it includes introductory guides to help you get started. The sole limitation is that while you can redeem the deal on any platform, the software is only usable with Windows systems.

Philanthropic Aspect

As with other Humble Bundles, a portion of each sale goes to benefit a nonprofit. For this one, that's Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 focused on improving the lives of children worldwide through education, health care, and emergency relief.
